2018 Guangdong International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Expo opens--Guangdong Fudao Intellig

On November 27th, 2018 Guangdong International Robotics and Intelligent Equipment Expo (referred to as “Zhibo”) opened in Dongguan, Guangdong. More than 80% of the world's wellknown robots and smart equipment companies gathered together to find business opportunities. As one of the powerful players in promoting the development of intelligent manufacturing industry in Guangdong, Zhibo has successfully held three sessions, this year is the fourth. This year's Zhibo Fair was hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology and the Dongguan Municipal Government. It positioned a highend advanced robot professional exhibition with an exhibition area of 130,000 square meters and attracted 1,675 exhibitors.

It is understood that relying on Dongguan's efforts to build the advantages of the advanced manufacturing center of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao Dawan District, the quality of this year's Zhibo will be fully upgraded. On the one hand, it is a new breakthrough in specifications. The scale and influence of the exhibition ranks in the forefront of similar exhibitions in the country, and more than 80% of wellknown robots and intelligent equipment companies at home and abroad gather. On the other hand, the new exhibition area highlights the elements of wisdom. Around the development of the intelligent equipment industry in Dawan District, the exhibition has newly set up exhibitions such as automation equipment exhibition and industrial park display, 3D printing Hong Kong Pavilion and Industrial 4.0 intelligent production line.

In order to help exhibitors obtain more orders, this year's Zhibo will continue to promote the marketization process, increase the organization of professional buyers at home and abroad, and invite wellknown manufacturing companies such as BYD, Foxconn and Gree, as well as from Russia, Australia, A delegation of business associations from Germany and other countries (regions) visited. With the joint efforts of all parties, the number of visitors will reach a new high this year. It is expected that more than 130,000 Chinese and foreign professional visitors will enter the exhibition to purchase.

Liang Weidong, secretary of the Dongguan Municipal Party Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Municipal People's Congress, introduced at the opening ceremony that manufacturing is the foundation of Dongguan's real economy. In 2017, Dongguan's advanced manufacturing and hightech manufacturing industries accounted for 50.5% and 39.0% respectively, all achieving historic breakthroughs; the city's smart equipment enterprises reached 163, achieving industrial added value growth of 30.8%, achieving main business income. It increased by 23.2% yearonyear. At present, Dongguan is making every effort to build an advanced manufacturing center in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macau, and is willing to work with enterprises and scientific research institutions to accelerate the development of digitalization, networking and intelligence.
